So what do you think? I'm up to about 85,000 words on their story. While I always bitch about the complicated emotional layers in writing menages, one thing that makes up for it are the erotic scenes. They're always scorching - as long as I make sure that no one has grown an extra limb or bent it in a way nature didn't intend it to go, lol.

Just a little recap for those who need it on WHY there's a Male Dom story in the Mistresses of the Board Room series. The books were a spinoff from my fan favorite Knights of the Board Room series. Initially, there were FIVE Male Dom/female sub books planned for the Knights series, because their were FIVE Dom heroes - Matt, Lucas, Peter, Jon and Ben, the top tier management team of Kensington & Associates. However, over the course of their stories, Janet (Matt's admin) decided she wanted her own story, and she was a female Dom. That's why there's a Female Dominant/male sub story in the series. Same issue here. Bastion is the executive admin at Thomas Rose Associates and a Male Dom, so he has no problem rubbing elbows with the topping ladies. He insisted on being Book 6!
Remember, all the Mistresses books can standalone, but there are guest appearances by the other MCs throughout all the stories. You're welcome to read from the beginning (or re-read) to pass the time before the release. I haven't read a book in my genre for awhile, but I tend to pay attention to Female Dominant story recommends since I have a strong segment of my readership who are looking for them. I took the dive with Mercy by Sara Cate. Now Sara doesn't need my help promoting her, since she's pretty popular, but I wanted to share this lovely line that stuck with me from the story.
I spent the past five years wishing I knew who I was or what I wanted in my life, but I was too busy shutting doors without opening any.
It's a very thought-provoking quote. And the book is excellent. It's rare to read one where the Dominant is a first-timer figuring out his/her way, and it was very well done and believable, with two likeable characters. So if you decide to read it, I hope you have the same enjoyable experience I did. While it's Book 4 of the Salacious Players Club series, it stands alone with zero problems.
