So as of December 15, Vampire Queen's Servant is available in audio format! A wide variety of audio vendors are offering it, including Audible. Want to see if your preferred vendor is one of them? To celebrate the audio release, we had some fun video features on the JWHMembersOnly FB group and YouTube with our narrator, Keira Grace, including a clip of her reading Mark of the Vampire Queen. Yep, she's working on it now, and fingers crossed, we'll have Book 2 of the series out in audio format sometime in March. She also answered a handful of questions we provided to her. Several readers reported being thrown at first by having a female narrator reading both Lyssa and Jacob's parts, since we didn't do dual narration, but as the story progressed, they settled into the story and that became less of a concern. So even as I'm loving all the good reviews for Neil and Abby's book, I'm also getting drawn into what I'm going to bring you in 2022, the third book to complete the Arcane Shot trilogy. Want to learn a little bit about Ramona, our witch heroine of Arcane Chaos? Here's what her best friend Ruby had to say about her (Ruby, the heroine of Something About Witches, is a witch who also owns a gun shop/firing range). She's describing Ramona to Silas, the Grim Reaper who is so intrigued by her:
"Imagine a game of Russian roulette," Ruby said, spinning the chamber and then snapping it in place. She pointed the revolver at the target. "To the person facing the barrel, it's chaos. Not knowing when the next trigger pull will fire the bullet. Some of that chaos belongs to the person who holds the gun, too, because they spun the barrel and took the choice of when it would fire out of their own hands. But the gun knows. Somewhere in the chaos, there's always the gun. Someone who knows there is order behind what others see as chaos. A person who has absolute faith in that, not just from experiencing it all her life, but from knowing it deep inside her soul, because that's how her soul is made." I'm taking care of some needed marketing tasks for the first part of the year, but my hope is I'll be back to a normal writing schedule by February at the latest, so I can get this book out to you all in the spring timeframe. After that, my Fall 2022 book will be another Mistresses of the Board Room story. I think it will be about Skye, our mute IT/Tech manager, because that is the one calling to me. We'll see!
